As an immigrant woman, of South Asian Indian origin, she also brings a strong culturally sensitive and informed perspective to her work.
Sreyashi works with clients going through depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, grief, and other conditions. With her prior work experience in business, non-profit and arts, she is well-informed about, and understands the mental and emotional health challenges in a range of contexts and situations. She supports clients dealing with career stress, academic stress in higher education, work-life balance, relationship challenges, cultural adjustment issues, immigrant/assimilation challenges, inter-generational or family issues (especially related to cross-cultural aspects in immigrant families), adjusting to life stages such as starting careers, empty-nesting, or retirement, and challenges related to finding meaning and purpose in life.
